Admin & Customer Service Assistant
📍 Location: Worthing, West Sussex
🏢 Company: Tech Lab – Repair Specialist
🕒 Working Hours:
Monday to Friday – 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM (25 hours per week)
Tech Lab is a fast-growing, family-run repair business specialising in smartphones, laptops, MacBooks, game consoles, and advanced logic board repairs.
We are looking for a reliable, tech-driven individual who can support daily operations, deliver strong customer service, and grow within a high-performance repair environment.
This role is ideal if you enjoy working with technology, interacting with customers, and want to build long-term skills in the repair industry.
Key Responsibilities

Manage online marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, etc.)

Create and optimise product listings, pricing, and orders

Assist customers in-store, over the phone, and via email

Clearly explain repair services, timelines, and pricing

Upsell accessories and additional repair services

Book in repairs and keep customers updated throughout the process

Handle payments, invoicing, and general admin tasks

Maintain accurate stock control and organised inventory

Ensure the shop remains clean, professional, and customer-ready

Support social media activity and promotions

Respond to customer reviews and build online reputation

Assist technicians with basic tasks when required

Learn device diagnostics, repair processes, and components over time

Junior Repair Technician
📍 Location: Worthing, West Sussex

Tech Lab is a growing repair business specialising in smartphones, laptops, MacBooks, tablets, and game consoles, including advanced logic board repairs.
We are looking for a hands-on Junior Technician who already has real repair experience and wants to develop further in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Your Role
You will be actively repairing devices, supporting daily workflow, and building your technical skills across multiple device types.
This is not an entry-level “no experience” role.
You must already be confident handling repairs.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair smartphones (iPhone, Samsung, and other brands)
- Carry out screen, battery, charging port, and component replacements
- Disassemble and reassemble devices including phones, tablets, and laptops
- Perform laptop repairs including screen, keyboard, and internal part replacements
- Handle iPad and tablet repairs (screens, ports, internal components)
- Support console repairs where required
- Carry out basic soldering tasks (charging ports, connectors, small components)
- Demonstrate understanding of basic circuit board structure and fault finding
- Maintain clean, organised repair workspace
- Follow repair procedures and quality control standards
- Assist with booking in repairs and updating job progress when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience in device repairs
- Confident working on iPhone, Samsung, and similar devices
- Experience replacing screens, batteries, and ports
- Ability to strip down and rebuild devices safely
- Basic knowledge of circuit boards and components
- Ability to perform basic soldering work
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and within a team
Bonus (Not Essential but Valuable)
- Experience with logic board repairs
- Experience with data recovery or advanced diagnostics
- Experience with MacBooks or gaming consoles
